Prologue Remember to breathe. It was the first thought she was consciously aware of drifting through her mind before she opened her eyes. It was strange. Surely everyone remembers to breathe. For some reason, she had not. She forced back the urge to panic and attempted to inhale. Coughs wracked her frail body as she took her first breath and the warm sea air made her lungs burn and parched her throat. Breathe. The voice was not her own, but it was familiar. I can't draw to save my life. lol

I do however love photography and film and one day hope to be a cinematographer/photographer.

I also enjoy other's artwork.

I joined deviant art since I already frequently view others' work and now I can share mine! :D

I've also been doing a bit of writing here and there (actually since I was 14, wow um 9 years...). I haven't completed much besides a fanfic oneshot and a few screen plays... mainly because I struggle with focus...

I do however enjoy reading other's work, so I get on fanfiction.net alot of the time. Maybe I'll eventually get something else completed.

Favourite Visual Artist

Van Gogh is my favorite artist. And I do believe Andrew Lesnie is my favorite cinematographer, best known for the Lord of the Rings trilogy, Lovely bones, I am Legend and Rise of the Planet of the Apes all visually brilliant movies.

Favourite Movies

I really have way too many to list but The Fall has got to be one of the best. The visuals, the music, the story are all so fantastic there are no words to describe.

Favourite TV Shows

Good grief, where to start? I'm currently obsessed with The Walking Dead, Once Upon a Time, Gossip Girl, and Lost Girl but there are so many others...

Favourite Bands / Musical Artists

I listen to a wide variety of music (thanks in part to my sister she's always giving me new music). But there's never a day when I couldn't pass up a chance to listen to Coldplay or Lenka. :D

Favourite Books

Wow, another long list... Howl's Moving Castle has got to be on the top. Don't know how many time's I've read that one. I also love the Legend of Zelda manga series.

Favourite Writers

Diana Wynne Jones (she wrote Howl's Moving Castle and a few other books on my list of favorites), I also enjoy works by Sharon Shinn, Libba Bray, Alison Croggon, and Amelia Atwater-Rhodes.

Favourite Games

Any and ALL Legend of Zelda games. I also like, Final Fantasy 13 and 13-2, Tales of Symphonia, and Resident Evil Games.

Favourite Gaming Platform

Wii, DS, Gameboy. Basically anything Nintendo.

Tools of the Trade

My camera, a Canon Digital Rebel XT with various lenses. My favorite being any of my macro lenses. I also like using lens filters.

Other Interests

Absolutely anything to do with Legend of Zelda and I mean ANYTHING. I also get on Facebook and Tumblr a lot.

Yep, I did it. I went and finally published a fanfic that has been sitting completed in my computer for, I don't know, 6 months? Damn, I have serious self-esteem issues... anyways. Just in case you're wondering... all these photos were taken a long time ago back when I was in school at the Art Institute of Dallas over two years ago. Mainly 2008-2010. I was actually in school for the film degree but never finished due to medical reasons. However, I'm hoping to go back this fall and complete my degree. Yippee! I also realized that I haven't used my camera in FOREVER... maybe I should go take some pictures... some people tell me I am pretty good.
